Getting to DLR

DLR Cologne-Porz

The DLR site in Cologne is located in the southeast of Cologne in the immediate vicinity of Cologne Bonn Airport.

 
He can be reached as follows:

Train

Take the S 12 and S 13 S-Bahn trains from Cologne Central Station, Troisdorf or Siegburg to the “Porz-Wahn” S-Bahn station. The S-Bahn line S 13 also stops at Cologne/Bonn Airport. Both lines run at 20-minute intervals, i.e. one of the two trains runs every 10 minutes. From the “Porz-Wahn” S-Bahn station, continue with the KVB bus line 162 to the final stop “Wahnheide DLR”. Travel time from Cologne Central Station is around 45 to 60 minutes.

Taxi

You will find taxi ranks at both exits of Cologne Central Station. Please tell the driver “Porz-Wahnheide, DLR” as the destination. The telephone number for the Cologne taxi call is 19410. The fare should be around 35 euros if traffic is flowing.

Car

Coming from Frankfurt (A3) or Bonn (A59), please follow the sign “Flughafen Köln/Bonn” (A59) and – before the airport – take the “Porz-Wahn/Wahnheide” exit, keep to the right and follow the signs “ DLR” follow.

Coming from Cologne (A59) or from Oberhausen/Duesseldorf (A3), follow the sign “Flughafen Köln/Bonn”, but then continue at the “Flughafen” motorway junction and take the next exit “Porz-Wahn/Wahnheide”, keep left and follow the signs “DLR”.

Note: If you are using a navigation system, please enter “Planitzweg” instead of Linderhöhe.

Flight

There are two options when you arrive at Cologne Bonn Airport. Either take a taxi from there (journey time approx. 5 to 10 minutes). Please tell the driver “Porz-Wahnheide, DLR” as the destination. Or take the S 13 S-Bahn in the direction of “Troisdorf” from the “Köln/Bonn Flughafen” train station in the basement of the airport to the “Porz-Wahn” S-Bahn station (first stop after boarding). Access to the DLR site in Cologne

Access to the DLR site is via the north main entrance and is only possible with a valid ID card or passport. Driving licenses, student or residence permits are not accepted. You will receive a visitor pass at the DLR gate, which must be worn in a clearly visible position for the duration of your visit to DLR and returned to the DLR gate before leaving the DLR site. We would also like to point out that photography and filming is prohibited on the premises of DLR Cologne.
